Description
Your day begins when you meet your drivers, who take you to your first stop—the Aposelimi Dam, where you can see the sunken village of Sfendili. Then we travel through olive groves to the ancient Roman aqueduct in Lyttos.
Next, we visit the traditional village of Kastamonitsa, where you can taste local raki and olive oil with the villagers. After that, the real off-road adventure begins as we head up into the mountains along an old Minoan trail. You’ll meet a local shepherd, taste homemade cheese, and see wild animals along the way.
We then visit a stunning viewpoint where you can see the Lassithi Plateau. We drive down to explore the Plateau and stop for a tasty traditional lunch with unlimited wine (vegetarian meals are available).
Our final stop is the village of Krassi, known for its 2,000-year-old plane tree and fresh spring water.
